Complete Office Suite: Contemporary Distressed Furniture

Our client approached us with a need for a complete office suite with a unique distressed finished that would also maximize a minimal amount of space.
With that in mind, we began finding design solutions that included an L-shaped desk, coffee table and another table that would double as a work space that could also expand into a conference table as well, all while providing a one-of-a-kind look for the completed office suite that our client was ultimately trying to achieve.
While the L-shaped desk was rather straight forward in design, as we've made our fair share, the biggest challenge came with the conference room table, as our client had a goal of the table be capable of expanding by two feet, but wanted to achieve the extra length without having to move the legs of the table at all.
The secret in designing this particular piece of furniture is found in the sub-top of the table, which is directly attached to the legs.
Within the sub-top, we engineered and installed a cog mechanism that allowed the two pieces of the table to expand and contract from its center to fit the leaf in between the two halves, without having to move the legs of the table itself.
The table now stands in our client's office and gets utilized as a great work surface for one to two people; however, with a simple opening of the top of the table and sliding in of the leaf--voila!

You now have yourself a conference room table that doesn't take a lot of man power and maneuvering to set up or tear down.
Our clients continuously come to us because the cookie-cutter furniture available in your run-of-the-mill magazine just isn't going to cut it.
Whether you're looking for something specific, something unique, or something that other designers and manufacturers simply can't provide, give us a call!
Here at Fuller Architectural Hardwoods, we've been finding creative design solutions since 1946, and we would be honored to help you achieve the results you're looking for!
